Oh, this is sweet. I like Spike first unhappy and lashing out against Xander and his weight as part of a broader dissatisfaction with the way his life is going, and then having to undo the pain that caused when they end up together.
And Xander always looked fabulous to me. It's touching to see Spike convince him of that, and treat him with reverence.
