So it's nice to read a story where Xander actually has a body I recognize as the one I saw (and wanted) onscreen. I like how low-key Spike's reaction was. I just watched "Fool for Love" again and it reminded me that Spike's got to know what it's like to be insecure.
I kept thinking that Xander wasn't thinking about how keen Spike's night-vision is, else he'd have been self-conscious even with the lights' out, though I could well imagine that the real issue wasn't Spike's seeing him but worrying about seeing Spike's expression upon seeing him.
At any rate, Xander=Love. And NB continues to be a hottie.
