My brain seems to think that spring is an excellent time to start writing new stories. This would be a lovely thing if it had also finished my current WIPs, but no. So instead I just have bouts of wonderful stories unspooling in my head while I drive, and have to try to remember them and find time to at least jot them down before they are forgotten.
But on the bright side - hey, writing! So that's a good thing.

I have WIPs just sitting there, glaring at me balefully as I pass them by and write short little one-shots instead. I even have the next chapters planned for some of them, but when I sit down to write ... plrghg! Nothing. I have this theory that it's because I'm in a transition period right now - starting a new job, moving to a new place - and that's stopping me from making progress on ongoing projects. Like, subconsciously I believe it's time for new stories along with new everything else.
In any case, write what wants to be written. I'll read it. :o)
